The Senior Vice President of Airbus Helicopters Olivier Michalon said it today, October 5.
"We want maintenance bases to be located on the territory of Ukraine. That is why we work with local authorities. We are open to any proposals and look forward to Ukraine's support," - he said.
Olivier Mihazlon also reminded that French specialists would initially assist the MIA in maintenance until the aviation safety system is fully operational.
"The contract with Ukraine is a significant project for us, it is a breakthrough. We do not consider Ukraine as a customer, we treat it as a partner. This cooperation will be lasting," - added the Senior Vice President of Airbus Helicopters.
