Border guards thwarted a massive drone attack on the Zaporizhzhya direction. The occupiers tried to attack the positions of the Ukrainian defenders, using a massive drone strike. However, the Ukrainian defenders adequately repelled the “attack” with anti-drone guns.

As a result of the work of the border guards, 10 enemy UAVs were eliminated.

Meanwhile, in Chernihiv region, border guards and policemen discovered a concourse with an arsenal of weapons - grenade launchers, machine guns, automatic rifles and ammunition. In a non-residential building of one of the remote villages of Koryukivshchyna, law enforcement officers found three machine guns, seven anti-tank grenade launchers, three automatic rifles, a shot to an LNG, two grenades with incendiaries, 100 rounds of automatic small arms. All that was found was seized by the police and sent for expert research.

Suitable ammunition will be transferred to units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and unusable ammunition will be destroyed.

Also, during the inspection measures, the border guards of the Chopsky detachment found the vehicle, which had been wanted since 2014, as stolen. The foreign-registered Range Rover passenger car was stopped for inspection.
The car was driven by a 43-year-old Transcarpathian, who was already in the field of view of law enforcement officers, as an assistant to men of conscription age across the state border.

It turned out that the certificate of registration of the vehicle contains signs of forgery. In the course of further measures, it was established that the car has been wanted for 10 years, as stolen in the Kiev region. Officers of the National Police were called to the scene. A notice was sent on the detection of signs of a criminal offense under Part 4 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code “Counterfeiting documents, seals, stamps and forms, sales or use of forged documents, seals, stamps”.

The vehicle has been removed.

In addition, in Transcarpathia border guards found 14 boxes of alcoholic beverages and 6 boxes of cigarettes without delivery. While serving at the control post, the border guard stopped a Mercedes-Benz Atego vehicle driven by a 21-year-old resident of the Vynohradiv region. He did not have any shipping documents for the goods. Border guards called employees of the Bureau of Economic Security to the scene. The vehicle and alcoholic beverages were removed in the prescribed manner.
