The war made barrier-free access to public services extremely important, and this can be seen by the example of the courageous Ukrainian serviceman.

49-year-old Alexey Konyakhin applied to the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Bila Tserkva for a driver's license exchange service. His previous ID was burned during the fighting in the Bakhmut area, where the fighter had to be in position under fire without food and water for four days. Unfortunately, there the Ukrainian soldier suffered damage to the lumbar spine, and now he has been using crutches for half a year.

Alexey Nikolaevich was able to quickly and easily exchange a driver's license and was satisfied with the service in the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Now with a new driver's license, the military is ready to return to the road.

All service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine are equipped with ramps, buttons for calling personnel and additional workplaces for servicing people with disabilities. You can find more information about the implementation of the principles of inclusion in the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the section Barrierless.
