They transported conscripts across the border: the suspicion of the deputy and his accomplice was reported
A group of persons engaged in the transportation of men of conscription age across the state border came into the field of view of the law enforcement officers of the Precarpathian Republic. The so-called business was organized by a 32-year-old deputy of the Kalush District Council and his 37-year-old acquaintance.
The accomplices sought out conscripts unwilling to serve in the army and offered their services to them. For 7 thousand dollars, they promised to provide a temporary military ID and a certificate of unfitness for military service to the VLC. On the basis of the received package of documents, the men were able to legally leave the borders of the country.
The official was detained on the territory of one of the gas stations, where he transferred the documents in exchange for money to the next customer of the service. This was done by law enforcement officers with the strong support of the regional police KORD.
The defendants were notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 332 (Illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The future fate of the dealers will be decided by the court. For illegal transactions, they face up to 9 years in prison.
Currently, the police are checking the possible involvement of employees of the Territorial Personnel Centers and the Military Medical Commission.
