He was under occupation in Kupiansk, liberated the city, and now helps in the evacuation of civilians and patrols in the Velykopysarivska community.

Journalists of the publication “Slidstvo.Info” told in more detail about the story of the policeman Arthur Kryazh.

Major of the police Arthur Kryazh is 40 years old, half of his life his husband works in the police. Currently, he heads the VPD No. 1 of the Akhtyrsky RVP GUNP in the Sumy region. The same man is from Kharkiv region, moved to Sumy region in November 2022 after being injured.

Before the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Artur Kryazh worked as deputy chief of the police department in the village of Dvorichna, Kharkiv region. When the Russian army began the offensive, the commander of Arthur gave the order to leave for Kup'yansk, away from the front line. There the man was under occupation for two months.

“Under these conditions, I was able to pass on information to my supervisor and the special services. I collected information about the personnel of the Russians, equipment. This was important for the liberation of the Kharkiv region. On April 24, I, together with 11 policemen, was able to leave occupied Kup'yansk. On the way to Kharkov, we passed 17 Russian checkpoints,” the policeman recalls.

In September 2022, Arthur joined the liberation of Kupiansk, where he had two minor sons: “I wanted to return to Kupiansk with all my might to pick up the children. I have two sons: the older one is 18 years old and the younger one is 13.”

Arthur Kryazh was one of the first policemen to enter Kupiansk, liberated from the Russians, together with the military.

During the performance of his official duties, Arthur Kryazh came under artillery fire, received a contusion and lay in a hospital. Comrades called him to work in Sumy region, in the rear, to be healed.

For 11 months Artur Kryazh worked in the Krasnopol police in Sumy region. Subsequently, he was transferred to the post of chief of the police activity department of the Akhtyrsky district police department.

“When these shelling in Sumy region intensified, there was a feeling of deja-vu, as if I had not left Kupiansk anywhere. Only here the situation is much tougher, I don't even know how to describe it — complete horror. The Russians throw air bombs on a peaceful village, completely erasing it from the world. The scale that you could see in the video does not convey the horror that is really happening,” says Arthur Kryazh.
