The draft act was developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in order to solve problematic issues related to the creation by the subjects of security activities of obstacles to the activities of representatives of law enforcement and other state authorities, local self-government bodies, their officials, as well as citizens in the exercise of the powers granted to them by laws and other regulations legal acts, the commission by such economic entities of actions that infringe on the rights, freedoms and property of individuals, as well as endanger their life and health, honor, dignity and business reputation.
The draft act provides for amendments to the second paragraph of Article 3 of the Law of Ukraine “On the peculiarities of state supervision (control) in the sphere of economic activity in respect of individuals — entrepreneurs and legal entities applying the simplified system of taxation, accounting and reporting” regarding the entrusting of state supervision (control) in the sphere of protection proceedings activity, its officials have the right to carry out planned and unplanned measures of state supervision (control) on compliance with legislation in the field of security activities.
