Draft order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “On Approval of Amendments to the Instruction on the Procedure for the Manufacture, Acquisition, Storage, Accounting, Transportation and Use of Firearms, Pneumatic, Cold and Chilled Weapons...”

In accordance with Articles 9, 13 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Principles of State Regulatory Policy in the Field of Economic Activity”, in order to receive comments and suggestions from legal entities and individuals, their associations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine informs about the publication on July 14, 2020 on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (www.mvs.m.v. gov.ua) of the draft order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “On Approval of Amendments to the Instruction on the Procedure for Manufacture, Acquisition, Storage, Accounting, Transportation and Use firearms, pneumatic, cold and cooled weapons, devices of domestic production for firing cartridges equipped with rubber or similar in their properties non-lethal metal projectiles, and cartridges therefor, as well as ammunition for weapons, main parts of weapons and explosives”.

The main developer of the draft regulatory act is the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The draft order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was developed in order to simplify and optimize the procedures in the field of the licensing system of internal affairs bodies, namely, it provides for the possibility of obtaining by citizens of Ukraine who have been issued a passport of a citizen of Ukraine with a contactless electronic carrier of all types of permits for the right to purchase weapons, and the list of documents and the procedure for obtaining a citizen's permit is determined to Ukraine to export their appropriate hunting weapons outside Ukraine for the purpose of hunting, etc.
