Clarification for media representatives on the preparation of requests and appeals to the Ministry of Internal Affairs

The provisions of part thirty of Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine “On Media” stipulate that the media (media) is a means of disseminating mass information in any form, which periodically or regularly comes to the world under editorial control and a permanent name as an individualizing feature.

Media entities and their employees may receive information in response to a request for information submitted in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Access to Public Information”, or in response to an appeal filed in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Appeal of Citizens”.

These Laws of Ukraine establish certain rules and requirements for submitting requests and appeals to state authorities and obtaining answers to them.
