Gromrad under the Ministry of Internal Affairs establishes cooperation with the National School of Judges and the National Academy of Legal Sciences

Today, September 25, a regular meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs was held with the participation of the Director of the Department of Communications of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Artem Shevchenko and those responsible for consulting the public on draft regulations developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The members of the advisory body, in accordance with the realities of the present, met in the mode of an online conference.

As emphasized by the head of the Gromrad under the Ministry of Internal Affairs Volodymyr Martynenko, this format of the meeting is being introduced for the first time, but this is not an obstacle to work.

Therefore, on this day, a number of draft regulations were considered, the developer of which is the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on which public consultations are currently being conducted.

One of the issues that was paid attention to at the meeting was the organization of scientific and practical events.

“We plan to hold the V International Scientific and Practical Conference “Implementation of State Anti-Corruption Policy in the International Dimension” in early December. Now we decide in what format it will take place, most likely, it will also be an online event,” Volodymyr Martynenko noted.

He added that scientific and practical conferences are also planned, which are the stages of the final December, which in previous years were held on the basis of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kharkiv, Dnipro and Lviv.

Separately, we talked about the direction of work, which the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs has paid attention to lately, namely the establishment of cooperation with the National School of Judges and the National Academy of Legal Sciences.

“In the near future, the signing of memoranda of cooperation with these institutions will take place,” said the head of the Gromrad Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, noting that a number of areas of interaction have already been outlined.

In addition, members of the Gromrad expressed readiness to continue to support law enforcement officers who ensure the observance of law and order during the prolonged quarantine period and during elections to local councils.
