Metropolitan police detained a man who attacked the film crew of a TV channel in Hydropark
For threats or violence against journalists, the offender faces up to five years in prison.
The event happened yesterday, April 2, during the filming of a story in Hydropark about the observance of quarantine rules at sports grounds. The man interfered with filming, scuffled at the technician, pushed the operator and uttered obscene curses.
Police quickly located the attacker. This is a resident of Brovary, born in 1965. He was detained under the order of Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
Investigators of the Dnipro Police Department are investigating criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 345-1 (Threat or violence against a journalist) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for up to five years in prison.
Earlier it was reported that criminal proceedings were initiated on the facts of the attacks on the film crews of two TV channels.
