Law enforcers establish the circumstances of the fight with the participation of media representatives in the capital Pechersk
Police launched a pre-trial investigation into the fact of light bodily harm to journalists. This event is not related to the professional activities of the victims.
Yesterday evening the police received a message from media representatives about the conflict on Yevhen Konovalets Street. The investigative and operational team of the Pechersk police department went to the scene.
Law enforcement officials found that three journalists were returning home. There was a conflict between the houses on Yevhen Konovalets Street between them and unknown persons, as a result of which unknown persons inflicted bodily injuries on representatives of the media and fled.
At the scene, journalists provided explanations to law enforcement officers and asked for medical help at the hospital. Two victims wrote statements about the commission of the offense.
On the fact of the incident, criminal proceedings were initiated under Art. 125 (Intentional light bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Law enforcement officers establish all participants in the event.
