At this time, three journalists appealed to law enforcement officers with statements about illegal actions.
Investigators of the Kiev police classified the incident as a threat or violence against journalists and entered the information into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under Part 2 of Art. 345-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction of the article provides for punishment - up to five years in prison.
We emphasize that such unlawful behavior in relation to journalists is unacceptable. To all such cases, the police will respond promptly within the framework of the current legislation.
