The 20-year-old defendant will be in custody, and the 17-year-old accomplice will be under round-the-clock house arrest wearing an electronic control device.

Recall that on August 14 of this year, during an action on Bankovoi street, a group of young men inflicted bodily injuries on a representative of the Internet publication.

Law enforcement officers identified the identities of two attackers: they turned out to be Lviv residents, born in 2001 and 2004. Under the procedural guidance of the Pechersk District Prosecutor's Office, the investigators informed the defendants about the suspicion of committing the crime provided for in Part 2 of Art. 345-1 (Threat or violence against a journalist) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Today, the Pechersk District Court of the capital chose preventive measures for the suspects: the 20-year-old defendant was taken into custody, and the 17-year-old accomplice will be under round-the-clock house arrest wearing an electronic control device.
