The remuneration of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is carried out in accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated April 20, 2016 No. 304 “On the conditions of remuneration of officials, managers and management employees of certain state bodies not covered by the Law Ukraine “On the Civil Service”, dated November 04, 2015 № 910 “On monetary support of police officers seconded to state bodies, institutions and organizations”, dated November 11, 2015 No. 988 “On the monetary provision of police officers of the National Police”, dated June 15, 1994 No. 414 “On the types, sizes and procedure for providing compensation to citizens in connection with work involving access to state secrets” and from January 03, 2013 No. 2 “On the establishment of allowances for official salaries of state experts in matters of secrecy experts and experts involved in the preparation of decisions and conclusions of state experts on issues of secrets”.

The salary of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and his deputies consists of official salary, allowance for work with documents constituting state secrets and allowances for performing the functions of a state expert on secrets. The monetary support of the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine consists of official salary, salary for special rank, allowance for service, allowance for work with documents constituting a state secret.

The award to the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and to the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine may be paid for the qualitative and timely performance of the tasks specified in the regulations on the Ministry, taking into account the corresponding division of duties between the Minister and his deputies, which is set monthly by the Minister according to the submission of the Head of State service, in the amount of up to 30 percent of the official salary.
