There was a telephone conversation between the Ministers of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and Turkey
Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Suleiman Soylu today, September 22.
Denis Monastyrsky expressed his gratitude for the prompt response and effective assistance from Turkish border guards in the recent return to Ukraine of our citizen, who is an important witness in a number of criminal proceedings.
In turn, Suleiman Soylu assured that the Turkish side is ready for further concrete steps of mutual assistance in the search, detention and extradition of dangerous criminal criminals.
“We are one phone call away” to resolve operational issues of an urgent nature,” Suleiman Soylu said.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey once again expressed deep gratitude to the Ukrainian side for the assistance provided by the fire aviation of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the elimination of fire during large-scale forest fires.
In turn, Denis Monastyrsky highly appreciated the achieved level of cooperation between the ministries of Ukraine and Turkey, affirming his intention to develop already launched projects and implement previously reached agreements.
The parties expressed hope for the earliest opportunity for personal acquaintance.
