The helicopter of the State Emergency Service once again transported the patient from the most remote mountain area of Lviv region to the Lviv City Clinical Hospital of the Ambulance
On April 12, within the framework of the Unified Aeromedical Space, the EU-145 Eurocopter helicopter transported an 84-year-old critically ill patient from the city of Turk, Lviv region, to the Lviv City Clinical Emergency Hospital.
The need for aeromedical evacuation by helicopter arose due to the serious condition of the woman, as well as the geographical location of the settlement, because the city is located in the most remote mountainous area.
Thus, the helicopter landed on the Lviv-Uzhgorod highway, near the city of Turka, where the patient was delivered by local doctors by ambulance to speed up the transportation process. A few minutes and the helicopter rose again into the sky with the patient on board.
After landing at the runway of the Clinical Emergency Medical Hospital, the woman was transferred to doctors for qualified medical care.
Recall that this is the third case of an aeromedical evacuation in recent days. Earlier, rescuers transported a 79-year-old woman with a stroke from the city of Turka, as well as a patient with a polytrauma resulting from a traffic accident, from the city of Brody, Lviv region.
