Attention! Changes for citizens planning a trip to Poland

As reported, from December 15, 2021, changes came into force regarding border crossings for citizens arriving in the Republic of Poland from outside the borders of the European Union (including from Ukraine).

When crossing the border, persons must provide representatives of the Polish Border Service, in addition to the vaccination certificate, the results of a negative diagnostic test for SARS-CoV-2, in Polish or English, taken not earlier than 24 hours before the border crossing, counting from the time when this test was taken. This requirement does not apply to pupils studying in Poland or in a neighbouring country and their accompanying guardians, as well as children attending kindergartens in Poland and neighbouring countries accompanied by guardians.

In addition, pay attention to:

On December 17, 2021, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland adopted changes in the procedure for passing citizens. In particular, the category of persons who do not need a negative test result to enter Poland has been added.

These include:

children under 5 years old;

persons passing final exams in schools, lyceums and higher educational institutions, exams confirming the qualifications of the profession, conducted by examination boards and guardians of these persons;

citizens crossing the border in the framework of work (drivers of cargo vehicles, crew members of aircraft, train service personnel, crew members of sea vessels, persons working in medical institutions).
