The government has raised the level of wages for specialists of the State Emergency Service who work outside settlements in mountainous areas
Today, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to Paragraph 1 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated August 11, 1995. № 648". The resolution regulates the issue of remuneration of employees of hydrometeorological stations and other facilities located outside settlements with mountain status, in areas that meet the criteria for classifying settlements as mountain.
The changes provide for an increase of 25 percent in tariff rates and salaries of employees of hydrometeorological stations and other facilities located outside settlements with mountain status.
Currently, there are 714 mountain settlements in Ukraine, which are located on the territory of 86 territorial communities and are part of 16 districts in Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Chernivtsi regions.
