A preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 60 days without the right to make bail was chosen for the perpetrator of 2005. Consideration of the choice of preventive measures for other suspects continues.

The event took place on November 22 this year. The police department № 3 of the Zaporizhzhya district department of the GUNP in Zaporizhzhya region was contacted by the parents of the victims, who reported the beating of their children on the sports ground of one of the schools of the Shevchenkivsk district.

Previously, the event was qualified under Art. 125 (Intentional light bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

In connection with the newly discovered circumstances, the criminal proceedings were reclassified on Part 2 of Art. 296 (Hooliganism), and also opened in Part 2 of the 2nd century. 189 (Extortion) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

In addition, the investigator of the police department No. 3 of the Zaporizhzhya RUP, under the procedural guidance of the district prosecutor's office, opened criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Art. 300 (Import, manufacture or distribution of works promoting the cult of violence and cruelty, racial, national or religious intolerance) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

On December 7, the police investigator, in agreement with the Shevchenko district prosecutor's office, was informed of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of Art. 296 (Hooliganism) and two defendants also under Part 2 of Art. 189 (Extortion) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Today, December 8, the Shevchenko District Court of Zaporizhia satisfied the request of the investigating police and chose the most “active” participant in the events a preventive measure for the pre-trial investigation in the form of detention for a period of 60 days without the right to make bail. Violators can face up to seven years in prison.

Consideration of the choice of preventive measures for other suspects is currently ongoing.

Recall that the investigation is carried out on the fact of committing hooligan acts and extortion. The identities of the four offenders have been identified. The issue of notifying them of suspicions of crimes committed and choosing preventive measures is resolved.

On December 6, while monitoring the Internet at one of Zaporizhzhya's public offices, a video was discovered in which several girls inflict bodily harm on three schoolgirls and demand to transfer money to their bank card. It is established that the information presented is relevant to the event, information about which was entered in the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations.

On November 22, the parents of the victims contacted the police department No. 3 of the Zaporizhzhya district department of the GUNP in the Zaporizhzhya region, who reported the beating of their children. Police officers found out that the incident occurred on the sports ground of one of the schools in the Shevchenko district.

Previously, the event was qualified under Art. 125 (Intentional light bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. According to this fact, the information was entered into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations by the Department of Inquiry. All affected girls of 2007, 2008 and 2005 births were referred for forensic examination. According to her findings, the bodily injuries of the two victims qualify as light, another examination is ongoing.

In the course of investigative actions, police officers identified the persons of violators who caused injuries. These are four girls between the ages of 15 and 16.

The police investigator, in agreement with the Shevchenko district prosecutor's office, was informed of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of Art. 296 (Hooliganism) and two defendants also under Part 2 of Art. 189 (Extortion) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The issue of choosing precautionary measures is resolved.

In addition, the investigator of the police department No. 3 of the Zaporizhzhya RUP, under the procedural guidance of the district prosecutor's office, opened criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Art. 300 (Import, manufacture or distribution of works promoting the cult of violence and cruelty, racial, national or religious intolerance) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction under the article provides for imprisonment for a term of three to seven years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years.
