The dead guards were honored in the hall of remembrance
Today, August 20, in the Hall of Remembrance on the territory of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a daily morning ceremony commemorating the defenders of Ukraine, who died on this day in different years during peacekeeping operations in hot spots of the world and as a result of Russian armed aggression in the east of Ukraine, in the area of the anti-terrorist operation and the United Operation Of the forces.
The event was attended by relatives and relatives of the deceased heroes, representatives of the leadership of the Defense Department, command and representatives of the National Guard of Ukraine, officers and employees of structural units of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In total, the bell sounded fifteen times today...
Military Operation: Fighting for the city. Ilovaisk.
Utkin Oleksandr Anatoliiovych (“Koldun”) — Chief of the reserve, commander of the department.
Kuzyakov Artem Volodymyrovych (“Art”) — Reserve soldier, scout and medic.

Circumstances of death: On August 20, 2014, the minibus “Toyota”, on which the wounded were taken from Ilovaisk (according to the testimony of an officer with the nickname “Dentist”, in the car were 8 fighters of the Donbass battalion and a serviceman of the Armed Forces) in the area of the village. Grabskoe, Amvrosievsky district, Donetsk region was ambushed by two platoons of regular troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. In this battle, “Caldun”, “Rumun”, “Art” were killed, and “Karat”, having suffered a serious wound, blew himself and several Russians who tried to capture him with a hand grenade (thanks to this, the surviving warriors managed to break away from the enemy and reach their troops).
The participants honored the memory of the defenders of Ukraine with a moment of silence and laid flowers at the Stele of Remembrance. Eternal memory to the heroes who fought for our
free, independent Ukraine! Eternal Glory to Heroes!
Reference: The Hall of Remembrance of Defenders of Ukraine was created to commemorate the servicemen who died for the freedom, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine. It is specially arranged in such a way that military personnel, employees of the Ministry of Defense and General Staff, and ordinary citizens can enter the Hall and pay tribute to their defenders.
Near the building of the Hall of Remembrance there is a plaza for solemn ceremonial events and a Commemorative Sign, in which fragments of shells with the Memorial Bell are mounted. The daily memorial ritual is carried out by ringing a bell, depending on the number of dead on that day.
In the middle of the Hall of Remembrance, on special podiums, there are Memory Books with the names of the dead. The structure of the Books is built on the principle of the calendar: one turn is one day, where all those who died on this day for all the years are remembered.
