The first police front office, adapted to the needs of all citizens, started work in Kherson
Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Kherson region Alexander Prokudin presented the first police front office in the region, designed according to European standards. An important feature of the new front office is its barrier-free, it is adapted to the needs of all citizens who want to receive a high-quality police service.
Oleksandr Prokudin told guests, journalists and representatives of the local executive about the advantages of the front office. It is located on the ground floor of the Kherson district police department, where most of the statements and reports from residents of the regional center about crimes and offenses come from. It is here that most citizens turn around the clock and for consulting help.
The front office is a transparent open space, equipped with a reception area, a duty area, a room for conducting investigative actions, as well as delivery of persons. Employees of the front office have undergone special training and can quickly and professionally provide the necessary advice, register a person for a personal appointment, assist in the issuance of certificates or extracts from registers, accept appeals, etc. There is a convenient playground for children so that parents can interact comfortably with the police. For citizens with disabilities, ramps were equipped.
Visitors will see how the police work. In addition, the Custody Records video monitoring system is installed in the premises, which will make it possible at the proper level to ensure the observance of citizens' rights and effectively respond to possible violations by both visitors and police officers.
The trust of citizens is the main criterion for evaluating our activities. I am convinced that the work of the front office will be as effective as possible, citizens in comfortable conditions will receive high-quality police services and, based on the results of the appeal, will be able to give a high assessment to the new police service, - said the head of the Main Department of the National Police in Kherson region Oleksandr Prokudin.
