Training of anti-tank units of the National Guard has been completed in Kharkiv
During the week, the personnel of the anti-tank units of the military units 3017 and 3035 of the Eastern Operational and Territorial Association improved their professional level. The servicemen underwent practical training on simulators at the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine and on the basis of the 3rd brigade of operational purpose.
During these exercises, the personnel gained practical skills in the use of anti-tank guided missile systems “Fagot” and “Corsair”. The guards worked out the standards for the deployment and collapse of portable ATMs, and the level of preparation of calculation numbers and the coherence of the actions of the servicemen of the units in the conditional conduct of fire and change of firing positions were also checked.
“During the exercises at the military town, the units trained to conduct reconnaissance on the ground, equip positions, bring the installation into a combat position. The guards worked with a sight, guided the installation according to the target instructions of the correctors, the search for targets was carried out visually with proof through optics, all these actions worked out every calculation,” said the commander of the battery of anti-tank guided missiles of military unit 3017, Senior Lieutenant Vat Miroshnichenko.
The main purpose of the exercises was to acquire the skills of the guards in the use of weapons and to prepare calculations for the performance of combat tasks as intended.
