In Kharkiv, the police reported the suspicion of four assailants who tortured a man

The event occurred at the end of February this year. Four intruders entered the residence of a 35-year-old resident and used traumatic weapons. All of them are members of one of the local NGOs, two of them have previously been convicted, including murder.

According to the investigation, the defendants forcibly placed the victim in the car. Then they resorted to torture: forced to undress in the cold in a public place and demanded that they repay a non-existent debt.

Yesterday, March 31, operatives of the Strategic Investigations Department in Kharkiv region together with investigators of the Kholodnogorsk police department conducted 10 sanctioned searches, as a result of which they found and seized two cars, hunting and traumatic weapons with signs of recycling, ammunition, shackles, laser cannons, computer equipment, mobile phones.

Four offenders have already been notified of suspicions of criminal offenses provided for in Part 2 of Article 127 (torture), Part 2 of Article 146 (unlawful imprisonment), Part 2 of Article 162 (violation of the integrity of housing) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In the near future, the suspects will be chosen to take precautions.
