In May, Galician guards detained more than 2500 people for administrative offenses
Of these, 1648 persons were detained by the joint efforts of police officers and soldiers of the 2nd Galician Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, and 906 persons were detained by the guards themselves. The largest figure was in the city of Ternopol, where 709 people were detained together with police officers. Here, the guards of the 2nd battalion of the brigade perform tasks to protect public order.
On suspicion of committing a crime by joint efforts with police officers and soldiers of the brigade, 40 people were detained, 73 people in independent outfits. Of these, 39 people were detained in Mukachevo.
In the month of May of this year, 85 grams of probable narcotic substances were found and seized by the National Guard brigade and police officers. The highest rate in the city of Ternopil is 39 grams.
In addition, 6 units of cold weapons were found in Mukachevo and 1 unit of an object similar to a firearm in Rivne
Recall that the servicemen of the 2nd Galician Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine perform tasks for the protection of public order independently and together with police officers. National guards of the brigade perform these tasks in Ternopil, Rivne, Uzhgorod and Sarny. In May, the National Guards of the 3rd Battalion performed tasks to protect public order in the city of Mukachevo.
