New fire and rescue department opened in Rivne
Today, July 13, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov solemnly opened the new 25th state fire and rescue department and handed the keys to the office apartments to rescuers.
“The newly built part is located near the densely populated “Northern” and “Zolotiev” neighborhoods of the city. It will make it possible to shorten the time of arrival of rescuers to the place of emergency situations and speed up the time of providing assistance to people,” said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Arsen Avakov also handed certificates and keys to the service housing to rescuers and their families, which is located directly in the fire depot.
“This facility has been erected since 1991 and only now the construction work has been completed within the framework of the program of the President of Ukraine “Big Construction”. The resulting apartments will improve the social status of 44 rescuers. Congratulations!” said the interior minister.
It is worth noting that the employees of the State Emergency Service and their families will have the opportunity to visit two special rooms in the apartment building - a children's interactive fire safety class and a work room with a psychologist. Children in the game format will be able to feel like firefighters, because in the classroom real scenes of emergency situations are simulated, and there is also a real form of rescuers.
The psychologist's room will be visited by employees who will have the need for psychological unloading.
Recall that large-scale exercises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took place in Rivne region.
