The National Police held a shooting workshop for commanders of special patrol police units
Practical shootings with the commanders of the well-wishers took place at the training ground in Novi Petrivtsi, Kyiv region. During the training, participants practiced theoretical knowledge in defense organization and skills in firing from a machine gun, grenade launcher, automatic machine gun, pistol and throwing combat grenades. The event was held with the participation of the Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine - the head of the patrol police Oleksandr Fatsevich.
Practical shootings took place on the initiative of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine. The commanders of special patrol police units took part in the exercises. During the week, they learned new and practiced already acquired skills in fire training.
According to the Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine — the head of the patrol police Oleksandr Fatsevich, the main purpose of these practical shootings is to deepen the already acquired knowledge and skills of tactical defense, understanding the capabilities of weapons and the direct readiness of their units on the fire lines.
“We carry out two stages of advanced training courses, the first is tactical training, which is designed to acquire sustainable skills regarding the actions of police officers in ordinary conditions and in critical situations. The second part of the training was based directly on fire training activities. It was aimed at the formation of stable skills in handling firearms, - Alexander Facevich noted.
At the training ground, the commanders of the Dobrobat received knowledge of the rules of firing from heavy weapons - the DSHK and DSHKM machine gun, the AGS-17 grenade launcher, the RPG-7V hand anti-tank grenade launcher, as well as small arms - an automatic machine gun, a pistol. In addition, the participants also improved their skills in throwing RGD-5 combat grenades.
Ruslan Moroz, Head of the Department of Organization of Special Purpose Units of the Department of Preventive Activities of the National Police, stressed that it is important to use such weapons correctly:
“The task is not just to shoot, but to properly disassemble, assemble and load weapons. It's not just like automatic rifles or pistols. It has its own specifics and has its difficulties. Any fighter can't handle it. You need to have the appropriate skills. The main task of the head is the ability to conduct high-quality briefing on the rules of its operation, to control the readiness and, accordingly, the correct conduct of fire,” Ruslan Moroz noted.
From now on, such practical training on shooting from different types of weapons will be carried out continuously. In order for the representatives of specialized departments to increase their professional knowledge and skills.
At the end of the event, all participants received the relevant certificates. The next step is to conduct similar trainings with the personnel of the units.
