The National Guard opened a large-scale sports complex
Today, May 22, in Novi Petrivtsi near the military unit 3027 of the National Guard of Ukraine, the solemn opening of a large-scale sports complex for servicemen took place.
The opening of the complex was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Serhiy Yarovyi, the commander of the National Guard, Colonel-General Mykola Balan, officers of the Main Directorate of the NGU, commanders of military units of the Kyiv Garrison of NGU, presidents of various sports associations and federations of Ukraine, National Guard and guests.
First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Sergey Yarovyi, together with the commander of the National Guard, Colonel-General Mykola Balan, solemnly cut the ribbon and stepped on the threshold of the renovated premises.
“We are not standing still, and I am very pleased that significant changes are taking place in the National Guard, such large-scale sports complexes are opening, allowing the soldiers of the National Guard to develop and do their favorite things. Thank you to everyone who participated in the construction of this complex,” said First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Serhiy Yarovyi.
This is the first such large-scale sports complex in the National Guard of Ukraine. The total area of the object is 4100 square meters, at the same time in the hall there can be more than 250 people.
This complex can be conditionally divided into two directions, namely playgrounds and military-applied sports grounds.
The complex contains the following halls: a universal game room, a mountain training room, a gym, a fitness room, a wrestling and martial arts hall, four changing rooms, bathrooms with showers, a room for hydrothermal procedures and methodical classes.
There is also a running track of 70 meters for training and taking points in speed training in the personnel in the winter season (elements of the obstacle course).
In addition, if necessary, the hall can be converted for competitions of various directions. It can be a sambo fight, hand-to-hand combat. You can also organize sports holidays with the involvement of a large number of participants.
The physical education complex will work for additional training of Ukrainian servicemen, sports, interdepartmental sports competitions and within the framework of the National Guard.
The main task of this hall is the military-applied training of the personnel of the National Guard.
After the opening of the complex, the leadership of the National Guard thanked everyone who participated in the construction.
