In Lviv, guards detained a suspected pedophile
Yesterday, December 21, around 20:00 hours, the outfit of the military unit 4114 of the National Guard of Ukraine detained a citizen who tried to commit profane acts against a student of one of the Lviv schools.
The attacker was detained on Kulparkivska Street, 95. According to the guards, the man fell under the orientation of the police. Police officers were called to the scene.
The detainee was a 50-year-old resident of Kiev, who had been repeatedly convicted earlier.
Recall that on December 14, the police department received a statement from a citizen, the mother of a 7-year-old second-grade student of one of the Lviv schools. She reported that an unknown man entered the school restroom while her daughter was there. Having presented himself as a doctor, under the pretext of an examination, he tried to commit despicable acts against the child. A similar case occurred on December 20, in another educational institution.
Soon the investigators will inform the man about the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 2 of Article 156 (Corruption of minors) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment - imprisonment for a term of five to eight years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years or without it. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
