The Futsal Championship of the National Guard of Ukraine began in Kyiv
Within four days, representatives of 17 teams of different military units of the NGU from all over the country came to the capital to compete for the championship at the National Guard Futsal Championship.
At the grand opening, Colonel Konstantin Pletko, acting Deputy Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, addressed the participants:
“On behalf of the command of the National Guard of Ukraine, I congratulate you on the opening of the National Guard of Ukraine futsal championship. The National Guard of Ukraine is a force structure that takes an active part in promoting a healthy lifestyle. Thanks to futsal, servicemen unite into new teams, which greatly contributes to their psychological recovery. Futsal unites and hardens, futsal makes us stronger, which is exactly what is needed to successfully perform service-combat tasks as intended. I wish the participants of the competition a bright and fair game and let the strongest team win!”
The competitions will be held from September 8 to 11 at the Bannikov Stadium, where the guards will compete for the title of champions in four groups from operational-territorial associations and direct subordination units.
“We trained very hard before this competition. We have strong teams in front of us, which have excellent players with their style of play. Each of the players of our national team will fight for a joint victory. I wish every player a great pleasure from this game,” said the captain of the national team of the Northern Operational and Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine, Sergeant Stanislav Dontsul.
In a few days, the final of the futsal championship will take place, where after a fierce struggle, the best teams will receive cups, medals and valuable gifts.
