The State Emergency Service signed a partnership agreement with the Main School of the Fire Service of the Republic of Poland
Today, September 7, a delegation of the Main School of Fire Service (Republic of Poland) visited the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (Republic of Poland), which was presented by Rector-Commandant, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of Educational Institution Mariusz Feltinowski, Vice-Rector for Educational Work Wojciech Yarosz and Chief of the Department of Chemical and Ecological Rescue Rafal Matushkevich.
Within the framework of the working visit, a Partnership Agreement was signed between the Ukrainian and Polish parties on the implementation of the project “Regional Rescue Training Centers — Support of the DPO Training System and Professional Emergency Services in Ukraine”.
During the discussion of cooperation issues on the transfer of multifunctional containers of simulators to Ukrainian educational institutions, Deputy Head of the Service Ruslan Biloshitsky emphasized that simulators will undoubtedly be a powerful reinforcement of the practical component of the educational process of our rescuers.
“The multifunctional complexes that are planned to be installed in our educational institutions will be the high-quality educational platform that will allow conducting training in order to form psychological readiness for action in extreme situations, not only cadets, but will also serve as a training ground for rescuers who are already doing their job as intended,” - said he.
Ruslan Biloszycki thanked Polish partners for their cooperation and expressed gratitude to instructors from Poland for the experience they share and will share with Ukrainian teachers, scientific and pedagogical staff, who will continue to transfer practical knowledge to rescuers.
In turn, Mariusz Feltinovski expressed hope that cooperation in this direction will be sustainable and stable.
Therefore, this year it is planned to transfer simulators to the Higher Professional School of Lviv State University of Life Safety (city. Vinnytsia), next year — to the Cherkasy Institute of Fire Safety named after Heroes of Chernobyl of the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine, in 2023 — to the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine (m. Kharkov).
