Special officers of the National Guard received certificates on passing the basic level training course
At the Training and Combat Center for Special Operations of the International Center of the National Guard, located in the city of Vyshgorod in the Kyiv region, the basic level of training of servicemen of the Special Purpose Units of the National Guard of the National Guard were completed. Three months of long and exhausting training, training on fire and Tactical and special training special forces officers have increased their professional competence and gained practical experience during field trips.
“Special purpose units are the elite of the National Guard. In three months you have become a real military family and it is not empty words, it is support, it is a single mindset and respect for each other. Those skills that you received during training will be useful to you during the performance of service and combat tasks. So pass them on to your brothers,” Colonel Serhiy Rekun, Deputy Head of the International Center, said at the ceremony of awarding the certificates. During the course, the instructors of the Training and Combat Center paid the main attention to fire and tactical-special training, military topography, actions in extreme conditions and urbanized area.
Young special forces personnel and those who have expressed the desire to serve in the Special Units of the National Guard for the first time submerged underwater in diving gear and parachuted, underwent altitude training and hardened their mental strength and endurance during autonomous field training Dive.
“The training of a special agent plays an extremely important role in the performance of combat tasks. He must be confident not only in his actions, but also in the actions of his fellows. In addition, it is the personal skills, combat training, mobility and effectiveness of the actions of special forces that are one of the primary factors of counteraction to any enemy forces,” said Lieutenant Colonel during the presentation of the certificates, the temporary acting head of the Training and Combat Center for Preparing for Special Actions Volodymyr Lysyuk.
It is appropriate to say that representatives of the Joint Operational and Tactical Group (Operation “UNIFIER”) of the Armed Forces of Canada in Ukraine also participated in the training course. They not only observed the actions of instructors and cadets and studied the system of training and evaluation of the preparation of units for special actions for further cooperation, but also provided advisory assistance during the conduct of classes on tactical and special training.
The special forces consolidated their skills in extreme conditions and tested themselves to the limit of their capabilities. The test field trip was successful and everyone saw their weaknesses and strengths.
After passing the exams and completing the final complex task with combat shooting, all cadets received certificates and certificates of passing the basic level training course.
