Rescuers and emergency medical teams of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part in exercises on aeromedical evacuation
On June 24, in Chernihiv region, exercises were held on aeromedical evacuation of injured (seriously ill) personnel and employees of bodies and units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system by SNS aircraft in medical version. The exercises were also attended by 2 freelance specialized medical brigades of health institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Within the framework of the event, the participants worked out measures to organize interaction between the civil protection forces and the medical brigades of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at four training sites.
The participants got acquainted with the medical helicopter EU-145 “Eurocopter”, its equipment and the specifics of the work. The participants also worked out the procedure for working with the resuscitation modules of the AN-26 aircraft in the medical version.
In turn, two scenarios were worked out, during which the car of the “ambulance” transported the conditionally injured medic to the “Eurocopter” and to the An-26 aircraft. At the same time, during the aeromedical evacuation there was a simulation of the provision of emergency assistance to him on board an aircraft by the medical team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The training ended with summing up with the participation of representatives of the Department of Health and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Department of Medical and Biological Protection and Medical Support of the Department of Civil Protection of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the Special Aviation Detachment of the Operational Rescue Service.
