Making the streets safe: the results of the National Guard patrols over the past week
In the period from May 31 to June 6 of this year, the personnel of the NGU were engaged in service in 21 regional centers of the state and the city of Kyiv, as well as in 30 cities of regional and district subordination, 20 rural settlements. Also during the past week, guards patrolled the territory of railway stations in Kharkiv and Dnipro and bus station in Mariupol.
In total, according to the results of the service last week, the National Guard patrols handed over 125 people to the National Police on suspicion of committing crimes, 2 thousand 012 people for administrative offenses.
Detainees seized: 77 rounds, 1 traumatic action device, 12 pieces of cold weapons, 0.407 kg of narcotic substances, 2 motor pumps. Returned property in the amount of 51 thousand 240 hryvnias.
Soldiers of the National Guard continue to actively participate in measures to combat the spread of COVID-19 in Ukraine. In particular, they protect the territories of 6 facilities for hospitalization of patients with coronavirus, observation (isolation) in 4 cities (Kiev, Odessa, Kherson, and Kremenchug).
This week, the Guards ensured law and order at 39 mass events:
- during public actions near state authorities;
- during the plenary sessions of the session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 9th convocation;
- during the stay in the Odessa seaport of the British Navy ship “Trent”;
- near the judicial institutions;
- during sporting events, etc.
Preventive measures to prevent illegal mining of amber in the territory of Volyn, Rivne and Zhytomyr regions continue.
Also, the guards take part in preventive measures on the territory of 6 settlements of the state in places and areas with the most complex criminogenic situation.
This week, soldiers of the National Guard took part in search activities in the territory of Lviv and Cherkasy regions.
The patrol units of the NGU continue to ensure law and order in the area of operation of the Joint Forces in Severodonetsk and Rubezhny Luhansk regions and Mariupol, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, Druzhkivka — in the Donetsk region.
According to the results of the service, 5 persons were transferred to the National Police on suspicion of criminal offenses, and 22 persons for administrative offenses to the National Police.
Recall the resonant cases of offenses and probable crimes this week:
On June 1, a citizen was detained by the patrol of 1141 of the NGU, while serving with the OGP in Lutsk, a citizen was detained under Art. 263 KKU, which, during a surface inspection, found 16 combat rounds (9 mm) and 4 knives with signs of cold weapons. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
On June 2, the patrol of V/h 3036 of the NGU, while serving with the OGP in Dnipro, on “hot trails”, after receiving a report of robbery and seizure of money in the amount of UAH 10 thousand by an unknown person, a man was found and detained during the search of the surrounding territory under Art. 186 “Robbery”, in which stolen funds were discovered during a surface check. His involvement in the commission of the crime was confirmed by the applicant. The investigative and operational team of the district IP was called to the scene.
On June 2, the patrol of V.H. 3012 of the NGU, while serving with the OGP in Odessa, detained a man under Art. 309 CCU, in which, during a surface inspection, a narcotic substance of plant origin with a total weight of 60 grams was detected. The investigative and operational team of the territorial IP was called to the scene.
On June 2, with the auto patrol of the 3056 NGU, during service with the OGP m. Kherson, a citizen was detained under Art. 309 CCU, in which, during a surface inspection, a narcotic substance weighing 15 grams was detected. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
On June 2, the auto patrol of the 3053 NGU, during service with the OGP m. Khmelnitsky, detained a man for art. 309 CCU, in which a narcotic substance weighing 16 grams was detected during a surface inspection. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
On June 3, the patrol of V./h. 3011 of the NGU, during service with the OGP m. Kropyvnytskyi, detained a citizen for art. 263 CCU, in which, during a surface inspection, a traumatic pistol and 7 rounds of ammunition were found without permits. Kropyvnytskyi, detained a citizen for art. 307 CCU, in which, during a surface inspection, narcotic substances of plant and synthetic origin with a total weight of 12 grams were detected. On June 3, patrol of V./h. 3039 of the NGU, during service with the OGP in the city. Nikolaev, detained 2 persons for art. 309 CCU in which, during a surface inspection, narcotic psychotropic substances of synthetic origin with a total weight of 40 grams were detected. On June 3, the guards of V/ch 3055 together with the police, during preventive measures in order to prevent the illegal extraction of amber in the territory of Rivne region, found 2 motor pumps, which were seized in accordance with the requirements of Art. 240 KKU.
Severodonetsk. On June 3, the patrol of V./h. 3039 of the NGU during service with the OGP, detained 5 people under Art. 309 CCU in which, during the surface inspection, narcotic substances of synthetic and vegetable origin with a total weight of 33 grams were detected. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Lviv. On June 4, the patrol of V/ch 4114 of the NGU, while serving with the OGP, detained a citizen under Art. 263 CCU, in which, during a surface inspection, four bow-like objects, one crossbow and 54 arrows to them were found. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Odessa. On June 4, the patrol of V./h. 3012 of the NGU, while serving with the OGP, detained a man under Art. 307 CCU, in which, during a surface inspection, narcotic substances of plant and synthetic origin with a total weight of 20 grams were detected. Odessa. On June 4, the patrol of V./h. 3012 of the NGU, while serving with the OGP, detained 2 people under Art. 309 CCU in which, during the surface inspection, narcotic substances of synthetic origin with a total weight of 43 grams were detected. Odessa. On June 5, 2 persons were detained by the auto patrol of V/h 3012 of the NGU, while serving with the OGP, 2 persons were detained under Art. 296 CCU who committed hooligan acts by threatening with a knife. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Khmelnitsky. On June 5, patrol car 3053 of the NGU, while serving with the OGP, detained 4 people under Art. 309 CCU in which, during the surface inspection, narcotic substances of synthetic and vegetable origin with a total weight of 20 grams were detected. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Kherson. On June 6, a citizen was detained by the auto patrol of V./h 3056 of the NGU, while serving with the OGP, a citizen was detained under Art. 309 CCU, in which, during a surface inspection, a narcotic substance of plant origin weighing 20 g was detected. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Uzhgorod. On June 6, the patrol of V./h. 3002 of the NGU jointly under the NPU, while serving with the OGP, on “hot tracks”, after receiving a report of theft of clothes and shoes in the amount of UAH 2 thousand 500 by an unknown person, while working out the surrounding territory, they found and detained a citizen under Art. 185 of the Criminal Code, in which stolen items were found during the surface inspection.
