The results of the work of the National Guard patrols over the past week
In the period from September 26 to October 2 of this year, the personnel of the NGU were engaged in service in 21 regional centers of the state and the city of Kyiv, as well as in 38 cities of regional and district subordination, 7 rural settlements, including in 6 settlements within the area of operation of the Joint Forces and on the territory of 6 objects of transport infrastructure.
According to the results of the service last week, the National Guard patrols handed over 144 people to the National Police on suspicion of committing crimes, 1 thousand 592 people for administrative offenses.
Detainees seized: firearms and cold weapons, anti-personnel mine PMN-2, traumatic action device, 3 units of cold weapons, 0.672 kg (0.628 independently, 0.044 together with NPU) of narcotic substances.
During the week, about 200 soldiers of the National Guard participated in the joint operation “BORDER 2021” with the border guards.
Also, servicemen of the National Guard took part in search activities on the territory of Kyiv and Lviv regions.
The Guards ensured law and order at 26 mass events:
- during public actions near state authorities;
- near the judicial institutions of the city of Kiev;
- during sports events;
- during the provision of the electoral process;
- during festive and cultural and spectacular events, etc.
Military NGU took an active part in measures to counteract the spread of COVID-19 on the territory of Ukraine. In particular, during the past week, the guards guarded the territories of 4 facilities for hospitalization of patients with coronavirus, observation (isolation) in Kiev, Odessa and Kherson.
The patrol units of the NGU continue to maintain law and order in the area of operation of the Joint Forces in Severodonetsk and Rubezhny Luhansk regions and Mariupol, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka and Konstantinovka in Donetsk region.
According to the results of the service, 12 persons were transferred to the National Police on suspicion of criminal offenses and 97 persons for administrative offenses to the employees of the National Police. Detainees seized: 3 firearms (AKM — 1 unit, AKC 74 — 1 unit, PC — 1 unit), 4 jet anti-tank grenades (RPG-22), 60 rounds (7.62 mm), 1 cold weapon, 3 grams of narcotic substance, 8 m³ of wood (wood sawdust) and 0.1 tons of scrap metal.
Soldiers of the National Guard continue to carry out tasks for the implementation of state protection measures, ensuring the holding of large-scale mass events of a socio-political nature, the protection of local self-government bodies, as well as in preventive measures in places and areas with the most difficult criminogenic situation, including the fight against illegal amber production in Volyn, Rivne and Zhytomyr regions.
Since the beginning of the year, the Guard patrols have detained 4 thousand 589 people on suspicion of committing criminal offenses and 66 thousand 427 people for administrative offenses, of which 507 people for criminal offenses (including 76 people on suspicion of involvement in the NZF) in the territory of the PLO.

Odessa, a citizen was found and detained, who, according to information and search systems of the NPU, was actively wanted under Art. 185 Criminal Code “Theft”. Vinnytsia, a citizen was detained under Art. 309 CCU, in which, during a surface inspection, a plastic bag with a white synthetic narcotic substance with a total weight of 11 grams was detected. Kamianets-Podilsky, when inspecting a non-residential building, an object similar to the PMN-2 anti-personnel mine was found.
