The results of the work of the guards in the area of the Joint Forces for the week: detection of an arsenal with ammunition, illegal weapons and persons involved in the NZF
On a daily basis, units of the National Guard of Ukraine in the area of the Joint Forces ensure the safety of citizens, check vehicles, documents and verify information with the search base in order to stop the illegal transportation of weapons, ammunition, narcotic substances, as well as to identify persons who have violated the laws of Ukraine.
On March 27, a suspicious car was stopped during service at one of the checkpoints in Donetsk region. As it turned out later, the passenger in the vehicle could have been involved in the activities of the illegal armed formations ORDO. A patrol police response team was called to the scene. Later, at the same checkpoint, three more citizens were identified who may be involved in the activities of the NSF.
On Sunday, March 28, during the operational-preventive exercise at Donechynna, 3 citizens involved in the commission of criminal crimes were detained, more than 50 grams of substances were seized, according to preliminary indications — similar to drugs and 3 units of hunting weapons and a gas gun were seized..
Also this week, the servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine together with the SBU staff conducted an unplanned operational and preventive development of the territory of Luhansk region.
During the verification of operational information, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine and servicemen of the National Guard discovered a dangerous find on the territory of one of the schools in the settlement of Privillia. Namely: rounds of various calibers and VOG-25 grenade launchers. It should be noted that the find could serve militants of illegal military formations as a tool for organizing sabotage on the territory of Ukraine.
During the week, the personnel of the National Guard of Ukraine in the area of the operation of the United Forces carried out an inspection of 39,653 vehicles and 52,458 persons, during which:
— found 239 administrative offenses;
— detained 26 people on suspicion of committing a crime.
In particular, guards from the operation of the United Forces detained 6 people suspected of involvement in illegal armed groups.
