Border guards detained a man and a woman serving in the ranks of illegal armed formations
During the verification measures against citizens, materials confirming their activities in illegal armed formations were received.
During March, the operational staff of the Kharkiv Border Detachment received operational information on the possible crossing of the border from Russia into Ukraine by persons who participated in the activities of illegal armed formations in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
Thus, during the implementation of operational information, together with the SBU, border guards discovered at the “Goptovka” checkpoint a citizen of Ukraine of 1990 and a citizen of Ukraine of 1976 birth, who were on their way from the temporarily occupied territory through the Russian Federation to Ukraine.
During the verification measures against citizens, supporting materials were received regarding their activities in illegal armed formations.
According to this fact, a notice was sent to the SBU about an illegal act containing signs of a criminal offense, the responsibility for which is provided for in Art. 258-3 of the CCU “Creation of a terrorist group or terrorist organization”. A pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
