Border guards wait for new helicopters and learn from manufacturers how to operate AIRBUS H125
In France, they continue to train aviators of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine to operate AIRBUS H125 helicopters.
At the production and training base of Airbus Helicopters, the personnel of the flight units of the State Border Guard Service have ample opportunities to get acquainted in detail with the operation of all elements of the helicopter. In the preparation, a variety of simulators-simulators are also effectively used.
Today in the city of Bayonne, four mechanics of the aviation units of the State Border Guard Service are learning to service the engines of AIRBUS helicopters. Nine more Ukrainian border guards have been trained this year in the city of Marignane. Seven are mechanics who specialize in servicing the gliders of these helicopters, one of them is an instructor mechanic. Two more avionics instructors received the necessary knowledge and experience in servicing the electrical and radio equipment of the helicopter. Instructors will be able to train specialists of the relevant profile already in Ukraine.
It is worth noting that the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has been operating two AIRBUS H125 helicopters for almost a year and a half, which have already flown for more than 650 hours. These machines have proven to be reliable and economical in operation. In the near future, the border agency will receive two more such helicopters, which will arrive from France already with the appropriate monitoring equipment for air border patrol. And by the end of the year, it is expected that the aviation units of the State Border Guard Service will already have 12 AIRBUS helicopters.
Recall that within the framework of the implementation of the intergovernmental agreement with the French Republic and the implementation of the investment project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the creation of a unified aviation security and civil protection system, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine generally expects to receive 24 new Airbus Helicopter H125 helicopters.
In view of the prospect of expanding the air fleet, the State Border Guard Service invites pilots who are willing and able to guard the Ukrainian border with modern and reliable helicopters.
It is worth noting that for H125 border guards have already equipped two hangars in Kharkiv region, one hangar in Sumy region and Kiev. Work continues on the construction of a hangar in the Chernihiv region.
