This was stated on November 30 by the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Colonel General Mykola Balan, during the joint tactical and special exercises in Volyn within the framework of the special border operation “Polissya” to strengthen the protection and protection of the Ukrainian-Belarusian section of the state border of Ukraine.
“The National Guard of Ukraine has enough forces and means to carry out these tasks! We use only reserves that are not involved in the implementation of tasks on the eastern borders of the state,” said the commander of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
At the same time, the commander of the NGU thanked the leadership of the Volyn region for cooperation, which positively affects the fulfillment of tasks by the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to ensure the protection of the state border, in particular, the National Guard actions of Ukraine.
Recall, on November 23, a joint special border operation “Polissya” began on the border with the Republic of Belarus. It is coordinated by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and is carried out jointly with the forces of the National Guard, the National Police, the Armed Forces and other reserves involved.
