More than $3.2 million of the criminal “commoner” was seized from detainees “in violation of the law”
This amount of cash was seized by the operatives of the Department of Strategic Investigations together with law enforcement colleagues, yesterday, May 20, during searches.
It was established that the seized funds are a so-called criminal “community”, the collection and distribution of which was controlled by the “guards in law” “Umka” and “Lasha Svan”.
In addition to more than $3.2 million in various currencies, police seized expensive vehicles, cold and firearms with rounds, as well as more than 60 pieces of precious jewelry.
Recall: the two most influential in Ukraine “wills in law” were detained under the order of Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. They incriminate the intentional establishment and dissemination in society of criminal influence committed by a person who is in the status of “sick in law” (part 3 of Art. 255-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
In case of proof of guilt, the “court in law” can be threatened with up to fifteen years in prison.
