Police of Chernivtsi region headed by Ruslan Dudarets
By order of the National Police of Ukraine, the head of the Main Department of the NPU in the Chernivtsi region appointed police colonel Ruslan Nikolayevich Dudarets. Today, September 1, the First Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine — the head of the Criminal Police Mykhailo Kuznetsov introduced the new head to the staff.
The presentation took place with the participation of the heads of the Chernivtsi regional state administration and the regional council, as well as heads of law enforcement structures of the region.
The third-ranking police general Mikhail Kuznetsov described the newly appointed head as an experienced law enforcement officer who since 1996 has been conscientiously guarding the peace of citizens and the interests of the state.
“The main task of the police is to increase the confidence of the population and protect citizens from illegal encroachments. According to the level of trust of the population, the police of Bukovina are in the leading positions. I am sure that the new head Ruslan Dudarets and the personnel of the Chernivtsi region police will continue to keep this high figure. Every citizen should be sure: if he turns to a police officer, he will definitely receive protection,” the First Deputy Chairman of the NPU stressed.
Chairman of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration Serhiy Osachuk and Chairman of the Regional Council Oleksiy Boyko congratulated Ruslan Dudarets on his appointment and assured of full cooperation for the common goal — security of citizens and domination of the Law in the territory of Bukovina.
The newly appointed head of the GUNP thanked everyone for their trust and emphasized that the law enforcement system of Bukovina is famous for its highly professional employees, thanks to which the operational situation is fully controlled.
“The trust of citizens is the main criterion for evaluating our work. We will continue to improve it, cooperate closely with all law enforcement agencies to ensure peace and public order in the region,” said Ruslan Dudarets.

Police Colonel Ruslan Nikolaevich Dudarets is a native of the Kiev region.
He graduated from the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and a master's degree from the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Candidate of Legal Sciences in the specialty “Jurisprudence”.
He began his service in law enforcement agencies in 2000 as an investigator of the Baryshevsky RV of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kiev region. Subsequently, he worked as a senior investigator in particularly important cases of the Investigative Department of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kiev region.
Since 2008, he headed the Economic Crimes Investigation Department of the Investigative Department of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kiev region.
In 2011, he was appointed head of the crime investigation department in the sphere of economic activity of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kiev region.
Since June 2012, he began working in the Main Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine as a senior investigator in particularly important cases of the 1st Department of Control of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases.
In October 2012, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Department of Control over the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases — Head of Division 1 of the Main Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
In 2014, he headed the 1st Department of the Department for the Organization of Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Economic Activities of the Main Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Since May 2015 — Deputy Head of Department for Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation — Head of Division 2 of the Main Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
In November 2015, he took the position of Deputy Head of the Main Investigation Department — Head of the Department of the National Police of Ukraine.
Since September 1, 2021, he heads the Main Department of the National Police in the Chernivtsi region.
