Policemen from the Carpathians rescued a child who almost drowned

Police officers, while off-duty in Kiev, heard a child's cry coming from the lake. Men rushed to help. One of the law enforcement officers, without a minute, jumped into the water and pulled the girl to the shore.

On October 23, about 17 hours after the training session, police sergeant, police platoon of object protection and public security company of the Department of Security Police in Ivano-Frankivsk region Igor Pavchak together with senior police lieutenant senior inspector of juvenile prevention of Kolomyia district police department Volodymyr Babak strolled through the Peremoga Park in the Dnieper district of Kyiv and saw a little girl drowning in the lake.

Igor Pavchak immediately jumped into the water. Having reached the frightened child, the man pushed the girl to the shore, where Vladimir Babak was waiting for them, who helped the child and a friend to get out of the water.

As it turned out later, the girl ran away from her parents and rolled into the water. A few minutes later, the parents came and took the frightened child home.

Thanks to the clear and professional actions of police officers of Ivano-Frankivsk region, they managed to save the life of a small child in a matter of minutes.
