Police officers together with National Guard troops began to serve in the center of Kiev
Today, October 14, in connection with the planned mass events, law enforcement officers intensively patrol the streets of the city and public places in order to prevent violations of public order and quarantine restrictions.
On the occasion of the Day of Defenders and Defenders of Ukraine to the Main Directorate of the National Police in the city. Kyiv received information from local authorities and several public organizations about holding mass events in the center of the capital. So law enforcement officers stepped up security on the streets and at the metro stations of the capital.
In order to control and respond appropriately in case of emergency situations, the Kyiv Police Department operates a 24-hour situation center. In the places of the actions, employees of the Dialogue Police and other specialized services carry out preventive measures with the participants in order to prevent conflict situations. If necessary, law enforcement officers conduct selective surface checks of citizens.
We call on the participants and organizers of the events to comply with the requirements of the current legislation and to assist the police in the performance of their official duties.
