Police units of special purpose units of seven regions received new service cars

According to the deputy head of the department Alexander Fatsevich, 8 service cars received special purpose police units. These units perform the most important functions — ensuring law and order on the streets, in particular during various mass events. The new vehicles will allow police officers to be mobile and quickly not only respond to offenses, but also to detain dangerous criminals.
“Next year, we plan to continue equipping the departments of the department. So that all units, every special assignment felt the support of the National Police. Therefore, in the future, we will provide technical assistance not only with transport and weapons, but also with equipment and appropriate protection for the effective performance of tasks.”

Serhiy Shchebetun, acting commander of the special police regiment in the Kharkiv region, said that the cars are equipped with air conditioners and special means of communication, which will help the police to perform their duties better.
At the same time, the cars are equipped with a modern video surveillance system, which will allow in the future to objectively assess the circumstances of the incident and bring the violators to justice.
“This is 5 cars of this class, received only in the last month of this year by the special purpose police unit of Kharkiv region. We are grateful to the National Police for the opportunity to constantly improve the material and technical base. After all, these cars go daily to work out the area, the police are on duty around the clock, they actually live in these cars. Therefore, it is very important to ensure proper conditions during the service of law enforcement officers. For Kharkiv, a city of millions, where mass events, football matches, international events take place daily, special transport is very necessary,” Serhiy Shchebetun said.
