Recall: at the end of November, the capital police received a report about hooligan actions of a group of people near the bar “Khvilyovy”, located on Verkhniy Val Street. Law enforcement outfits and an investigative task force were directed to the specified address to stop the offense.
Law enforcement officers at the scene established that the company of young men, expressing obscene profanity, damaged furniture that was located in the territory adjacent to the establishment, and subsequently beat the glass of doors and windows in the room. After that, the violators tried to penetrate inside, where the employees and visitors of the bar were locked. However, when those involved did not succeed, they sprayed the canisters with an irritating substance into the present and fled.
Police officers carried out a complex of operational-search and investigative actions, and subsequently identified about thirty people who are reasonably suspected of committing the said crime. Today, December 10, police conducted authorized searches of the residences of several defendants and seized material evidence of their illegal activities.
Under the procedural guidance of the Podolsk District Prosecutor's Office, two minors, born in 2005 and 2006, have already been notified of suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - hooliganism with the use of an object specially adapted or prepared in advance for causing bodily harm. Currently, the issue of choosing preventive measures for them is being resolved. The sanction of the article provides for three to seven years in prison.
Within the framework of the initiated criminal proceedings, the police carry out all necessary investigative actions and prepare reports of suspicion to other participants of hooliganism.
