The units of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs held the first rehearsal of the parade of the Security and Defense Forces
Yesterday, August 18, the first rehearsal of the parade for the 30th anniversary of the Independence Day of Ukraine took place in the center of Kyiv. At the beginning of the rehearsal, the National Anthem was performed by the military orchestra of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The first to step are several dozen security officers holding the Ukrainian troops.
The procession is accompanied by musical compositions performed by the military orchestra of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The participants of the march chanted: “Glory to Ukraine — Glory to Heroes”, “Ukraine above all”.
This year, 30 parade calculations take part in the festive parade of the Security and Defense Forces. Of these, 10 are representatives of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs — the National Academy of Internal Affairs, the National Police of Ukraine, the Honor Guard of the NGU, the National Academy of State Fiscal Service, the National University of Civil Defense, the Unified Military Orchestra of the NGU and the two cynological units of the NGU and the DPSU.
The parade also features an air column. The aviation units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs attract helicopters H145, H225 Super Puma, aircraft DА42 — MI, AN-72 and AN-32P.
During the first rehearsal in the sky over Khreshchatyk and Maidan Nezalezhnosti, the largest and most powerful transport aircraft in the world, An-225 “Mriya” flew.
In addition, the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the parade will present special equipment for various tasks - police, guards, border and rescue operations.
The mechanized column of the Rapid Response Brigade of the NGU will demonstrate modern armored vehicles of the Guard “Novator” and UAR-10 rifles, which are manufactured in Ukraine.
It is worth noting that on the day of the parade, boats of the State Border Guard Service, the State Emergency Service and the National Police of Ukraine are scheduled to pass along the Dnieper River. Also, the ships and boats of the State Fiscal Service will be solemnly held in the waters of the Black Sea. The rehearsal of the naval parade took place on August 18 in Odessa. Boats and vessels of the Naval Forces and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine performed a solemn passage and demonstrated some elements of the planned demonstration actions.
Service dogs of border guards and national guards will be participants in the Independence Day parade for the first time. 33 dog breeders and their tailed brethren began training long before the holiday. All the dogs that will participate in the parade are specialized in finding weapons and drugs and have already managed to prove themselves in the service.
Also, for the first time, the ceremonial calculation of the National Police of Ukraine takes part in the celebrations.
As part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, festive events will be held throughout the country, lasting from 22 to 24 August. All of them will be united by the slogan “You are the only one with me.”
