Yesterday, the life of a 44-year-old man was prematurely terminated due to a stroke. His relatives agreed to the removal of certain donor organs for further transplantation.

On the same day, representatives from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine appealed to the leadership of the Department of Patrol Police with a request to help promptly deliver donor organs to specified locations. This call was immediately responded to and organized the necessary work of the crews.

Therefore, in Vinnitsa, a team of doctors handed over vital cargo to the patrol crews — a heart, a liver and two kidneys. Inspectors with three crews quickly delivered them to several destinations: Vinnytsia Regional Clinical Hospital named after M. Pirogova, to the airport “Gavryshivka” and to the border with Khmelnytsky region.

Then the liver was transported by the helicopter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the kidney by ambulance to Lviv, the second kidney was delivered to Kiev, and the heart to the Vinnytsia Regional Clinical Hospital named after M. Pirogova.

Employees of the Patrol Police of Ukraine, doctors, aviators — all who were involved in this process, did a great job to make everything happen and people got a second chance at life!

Thank you doctors who work miracles!

We wish a speedy recovery to all patients!

Sincere condolences and gratitude to the donor's family for such an important decision that gave three people a chance of life at once!

And our law enforcement officers, in turn, are always ready to come to the rescue.
