Patrols drew up a protocol on administrative violation for driving while intoxicated on a judge who ignored written appeals of the police — Oleksiy Biloshitsky
First Deputy Chief of the Patrol Police Department Oleksiy Biloshitsky said that the patrolmen were forced to visit the offender, who was caught drunk while driving, at the place of work and draw up a protocol on an administrative offense under Article 130 of the KUPP.
“Do you remember the resonant case that occurred on July 21 in the capital Obolon, when a vehicle under the control of the judge of the Desnyansky District Court of Kyiv got into a traffic accident? Then the patrol police drew up a protocol on the driver on administrative offenses for committing an accident (Art. 124 KUPap). And since the woman driving the car had obvious signs of alcohol intoxication, she was sent for a medical examination. And according to the doctor's conclusion, back in July, it was confirmed that the driver was really drunk,” said the First Deputy Chief of the Patrol Police Department.
Alexey Beloshitsky explained that for more than a month and a half the violator was on sick leave, and never once, at numerous written invitations of police officers, and did not appear at the patrol police department in Kiev to complete the registration of the relevant administrative material.
“Therefore, after the driver left the hospital, we visited her at her place of work and drew up a protocol on an administrative offense for driving a vehicle while intoxicated (Art. 130 kUPap). We have already transferred the administrative material for consideration on the basis of territorial jurisdiction — to the Obolonsky District Court of Obolon. Kiev. Now we are waiting for a fair decision of the court,” he said.
Oleksiy Biloshitsky stressed that “anyone who can brazenly afford to get behind the wheel drunk should be responsible for this.”
