Protection of public order: the results of the work of the National Guard patrols in a week
In the period from April 26 to May 02 of this year, the personnel of the NGU were engaged in service in 21 regional centers of the state and the city of Kyiv, as well as in 28 cities of regional and district subordination, 12 rural settlements. In addition, the guards patrolled the territory of 7 objects of transport infrastructure of railway stations in Kharkiv, Kiev and Dnipro and bus station in Mariupol.
Soldiers of the National Guard continue to actively participate in measures to combat the spread of COVID-19 on the territory of Ukraine. In particular, they protect the territories of 7 facilities for hospitalization of patients with coronavirus, observation (isolation) in 5 cities (Kiev, Odessa, Kherson, Sumy and Kremenchug).
This week, the Guards ensured law and order at 84 mass events. Among them — at 6 mass public actions near state authorities, 3 — near judicial institutions, 7 — during sports events, etc.
Preventive measures to prevent illegal mining of amber in the territory of Volyn, Rivne and Zhytomyr regions continue.
Also, soldiers of the National Guard took part in search activities on the territory of the city of Kiev.
Soldiers of the National Guard participated in ensuring public order at the site of the explosion in the residential building.
In total, according to the results of the service last week, the National Guard patrols handed over 110 people to the National Police on suspicion of committing crimes, 1 thousand 729 people for administrative offenses.
Detainees seized: 1 F-1 grenade, 1 traumatic pistol and 6 rounds to it, 1 knife, 1 telescopic metal stick, 0.372 kg of narcotic substances. Returned property in the amount of 26 thousand 035 hryvnias.
The patrol units of the NGU ensured law and order in the area of operation of the United Forces in Severodonetsk and Rubezhny Luhansk regions, Mariupol, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Konstantinovka, Druzhkivka — in Donetsk region.
According to the results of the service, 4 persons were transferred to the National Police on suspicion of committing criminal offenses, and 29 persons for administrative offenses.

On April 30, while serving with the OGP, a citizen was detained under Art. 307 CCU, in which, during a surface inspection, four prepackaged plastic bags with a crystalline narcotic substance of synthetic origin with a total weight of 30 grams were found.
