Protection of public order: the results of the work of the National Guard patrols in a week
In the period from April 5 to 11 of this year, the personnel of the NGU were engaged in service in 21 regional centers of the state and the city of Kiev, as well as in 38 cities of regional and district subordination, 14 rural settlements. In addition, the guards patrolled the territory of two railway stations in Kharkiv and Dnipro and a bus station in Mariupol.
Soldiers of the National Guard continue to actively participate in measures to combat the spread of COVID-19 on the territory of Ukraine. In particular, they protect the territories of 8 facilities for hospitalization of patients with coronavirus, observation (isolation) in 5 cities (Kiev, Odessa, Kherson, Sumy and Kremenchug. Also, during the week, the guards served at 3 mobile quarantine control posts at the entrance/exit from 2 settlements of the state (in Enerhodar and Ivano-Frankivsk region).
This week, the Guards ensured law and order at 48 mass events. Among them — at 6 mass public actions near state authorities, 5 — near judicial institutions, 5 — during sports events, etc.
Preventive measures to prevent illegal mining of amber in the territory of Volyn, Rivne and Zhytomyr regions continue.
Also, servicemen of the National Guard participated in search activities on the territory of the cities of Lviv and Dnipro, settlements of Kyiv, Cherkasy, Poltava, Vinnytsia and Volyn regions.
In total, according to the results of the service last week, the National Guard patrols handed over 123 people to the National Police on suspicion of committing crimes, 2 thousand 245 people for administrative offenses.
Detainees seized: 1 starting pistol and 6 rounds for it, 4 grenades — RGD-5 and F-1, cold weapons, 0.446 kg of narcotic substances.
Returned property in the amount of 11 thousand 730 hryvnias.
The patrol units of the NGU ensured law and order in the area of operation of the United Forces in Severodonetsk and Rubezhny Luhansk regions, Mariupol, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Konstantinovka, Druzhkivka — in Donetsk region.
According to the results of the service, 19 persons were transferred to the National Police on suspicion of committing criminal offenses, including 6 persons on suspicion of involvement in the NSF and 206 persons for administrative offenses.

Lutsk. On April 9, the foot patrol of the NGU detained a citizen for art. 263 CCU, in which during a surface inspection, a starting pistol and 6 pcs. 9mm rounds were found without the relevant documents. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Kyiv. On April 10, the guards together with the police detained a man for art. 263 KKU, in which during the surface inspection, 2 grenades (RGD-5 and F-1) were detected. The investigative and operational team of the Metropolitan UP was called to the scene.
Rivne. On April 10, the patrol of the NGU on the patrol route detected 2 grenades (RGD-5 and F-1). The investigative and operational team of Rivne UP and the State Emergency Service was called to the scene.
