Protection of public order: the results of the work of the National Guard patrols over the past week
In the period from 24 to 30 May of this year, the personnel of the NGU were engaged in service in 21 regional centers of the state and the city of Kyiv, as well as in 49 cities of regional and district subordination, 15 rural settlements. Also during the past week, guards patrolled the territory of railway stations in Kharkiv and Dnipro and bus station in Mariupol.
In total, according to the results of the service last week, the National Guard patrols handed over 169 people to the National Police on suspicion of committing crimes, 2 thousand 147 people for administrative offenses.
Detainees seized: 2 pistols, 12 rounds, 1 traumatic action device, 1 gun store, 11 pieces of cold weapons, 0.428 kg of narcotic substances, 3 motor pumps. Returned property in the amount of 36 thousand 873 hryvnias.
Soldiers of the National Guard continue to actively participate in measures to combat the spread of COVID-19 in Ukraine. In particular, they protect the territories of 6 facilities for hospitalization of patients with coronavirus, observation (isolation) in 4 cities (Kiev, Odessa, Kherson, and Kremenchug). This week the guards ensured law order at 44 mass events:
- during public actions near state authorities;
- during the stay in Odessa seaport of the British Navy ship “Trent”; - during religious events; - near judicial institutions;
- during sports events, etc.
Preventive measures to prevent illegal mining of amber in the territory of Volyn, Rivne and Zhytomyr regions continue.
Also, the guards take part in preventive measures on the territory of 8 settlements of the state in places and areas with the most complex criminogenic situation.
Also, servicemen of the National Guard took part in search activities on the territory of the Volyn region.
The patrol units of the NGU continue to maintain law and order in the area of operation of the Joint Forces in Severodonetsk, Rubezhny and Starobilsk of the Luhansk region and in Mariupol, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Konstantinovka, Druzhkivka — in the Donetsk region.
According to the results of the service, 3 persons were transferred to the National Police on suspicion of criminal offenses, and 26 persons for administrative offenses to the National Police.

On May 25 and 27, NGU patrols together with NPU, during preventive measures to prevent illegal extraction of amber on the territory of Rivne region, discovered and seized 3 motor pumps in accordance with the requirements of Art. 240 KKU.
Kyiv. On May 24, a citizen was detected and detained by the foot patrol of the V/H 3030, while serving with the OGP, who according to the information and search systems of the NPU was actively wanted for Art. 185 Criminal Code “Theft”. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Chernivtsi. On May 24, while serving with the OGP, a citizen was detained under Art. 309 CCU, in which, during a surface inspection, a paper package with a narcotic substance of plant origin weighing 7 grams was found. The investigative and operational team of the district IP was called to the scene.
Kyiv. On May 26, an independent foot patrol of V/h 3030, while serving with the OGP, a citizen was found and detained, who, according to information and search systems of the NPU, was actively wanted under Art. 187 KKU “Robbery”. Dnipro. On May 26, an independent foot patrol of V/h 3036 during service with the OGP detained a citizen for 263 KKU, from whom a knife with signs of cold weapons was seized during a surface inspection. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Kryvyi Rih. 26.05.2021, a citizen was detained by an independent foot patrol of V/ch 3011 during service with the OGP under Art. 309 CCU, in which, during the surface inspection, narcotic substances of synthetic origin with a total weight of 40 grams were detected. The investigative and operational team of the district IP was called to the scene.
Odessa. On May 26, while serving with the OGP, five people were detained under Art. 309 CCU in which, during surface inspections, narcotic substances of synthetic and vegetable origin with a total weight of 36 grams were detected. The investigative and operational team of the territorial IP was called to the scene.
Kherson. On May 26, while serving with the OGP, a citizen was detained under Art. 309 CCU, in which, during the surface inspection, a plastic bag containing a synthetic narcotic substance with a total weight of 40 grams was found. The investigative and operational team of the district IP was called to the scene.
Ivano-Frankivsk. On May 26, while serving with the OGP, a citizen was detained under 263 Criminal Code, from which during a surface inspection an object similar to a pistol was seized without permits. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Kamianets-Podilsky. On May 26, while serving with the OGP, citizens were detained under Art. 309 CCU, in which, during a surface inspection, a paper package containing a narcotic substance of plant origin weighing 10 grams was found. The investigative and operational team of the district IP was called to the scene.
Cherkasy. On May 27, while serving with the OGP, a citizen was detained for 263 KKU, from whom a cassette and 2 knives with signs of cold weapons were seized during a surface inspection. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Kropyvnytskyi. On May 27, while serving with the OGP, five people were detained under Art. 309 CCU in which, during surface inspections, narcotic substances of synthetic and vegetable origin with a total weight of 27 grams were detected. The investigative and operational team of the territorial IP was called to the scene.
Odessa. On May 27, while serving with the OGP, four people were detained under Art. 309 CCU in which, during surface inspections, narcotic substances of synthetic and vegetable origin with a total weight of 23 grams were detected. The investigative and operational team of the territorial IP was called to the scene.
On May 28, NGU patrols together with the NPU outfit, during preventive measures to prevent illegal extraction of amber in the territory of Zhytomyr region, found and seized a motor pump, in accordance with the requirements of Art. 240 KKU.
Energodar. On May 28, a citizen was detained by the foot patrol of V/h 3033 during the service with the OGP, a citizen under the order 263 of the Criminal Code, from whom a knife with signs of cold weapons was seized during the surface inspection. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Lviv. On May 28, the foot patrol of V/ch 4114 while serving with the OGP detained two persons under Art. 263 CCU, in which a cassette with signs of cold weapons and a starting pistol were removed during a surface inspection. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Ivano-Frankivsk. On May 28, while serving with the OGP, a citizen was detained under Art. 309 and 263 of the Criminal Code, who during a surface inspection seized a store equipped with a pistol with 4 combat rounds and a narcotic substance of plant origin weighing 3 grams. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Rivne. On May 29, a citizen was detained by the auto patrol of V/h 3055 while serving with the OGP under Art. 263 CCU, from which during the surface inspection a pistol (PM) and 6 rounds were seized without permits. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Odessa. On May 29, 2021, an independent foot patrol of V/ch 3012 during service with the OGP detained a citizen for 263 KKU, from which 2 combat rounds (5.45 mm) were seized during the surface inspection. The investigative and operational team of the regional OP was called to the scene.
Nikolaev. On May 29, by the auto patrol of V/h 3039 during service with the OGP, after receiving a notice of open possession of gold jewelry by an unknown person, a citizen was detected and detained during the exploitation of the adjacent territory under Art. 186 “Robbery”, in which a stolen gold chain was discovered during a surface inspection. His involvement in the commission of the crime was confirmed by the applicant. Returned property in the amount of 21 thousand hryvnias. Odessa. On May 30, while serving with the OGP, four people were detained under Art. 309 CCU in which, during surface inspections, narcotic substances of synthetic and vegetable origin with a total weight of 29 grams were detected. The investigative and operational team of the territorial IP was called to the scene.
Mukachevo. On May 30, while serving with the OGP, two people were detained under Art. 263 KKU, in which, during surface inspections, 2 knives with signs of cold weapons were found. The investigative and operational team of the territorial IP was called to the scene.
Rivne. On May 30, the patrol of V/h 3055, while serving with the OGP, after receiving a notification of theft, during the search of the adjacent territory, a citizen was found and detained under Art. 185, who during a surface check was found stolen funds, gold products and a mobile phone. The investigative and operational team of the district IP was called to the scene.
